Christmas is upon us and I’m off for an extended break in Thailand.
Thanks for all your support over the past year, particularly to those of you who came to see my one man show; and for those of you who didn’t, it’s now on DVD, and you can read all about it here.

My contract with Channel 4 comes to an end on December 31st, so things have been up in the air while discussions about my future have taken place. Nothing is signed yet, but it looks as though I’ll be staying with the channel for the next two or three years, which means there will be plenty more Time Teams and lots of other stuff. In particular I’m talking to them about a new series (initially three episodes) which will look at various aspects of the so-called “supernatural”. It will be master-minded by Tim Taylor the brains behind Time Team, but will be a completely different kind of show.

Apart from that there is a new thirteen part Time Team series in the can, plus four Time Team documentaries.
We’ve also completed my four part history of British law, although no title has been agreed yet. The frontrunner is “Tony Robinson’s Lawfully Big Adventure”, but that sounds pretty crap to me. Any more inspired suggestions would be appreciated.
