Blitzkreig on Shooters Hill - London

This week the Team delve into recent history to uncover the hidden archaeology behind the biggest World War Two battle that never was.
This was the planned defence of Britain, and more especially London, against potential Nazi invasion in 1940.

While uncovering evidence of anti-tank weapons and bunkers in the quiet gardens of this potentially strategic London hilltop, they speak to members of the Home Guard who recall their defensive training and look at how the British Resistance would have reacted if the Nazi's had invaded.

Quite an unusual period for the Team to tackle - and, of course, in just three days....
