The Romans Recycle - Wickenby This week our intrepid archaeologists head to a muddy field in Wickenby, Lincolnshire, where a metal detectorist uncovered a treasure trove of Roman and Iron Age artefacts. As the dig progresses, the evidence mounts to suggest that the local Roman population were conscious of the need to recycle. The experts have conflicting opinions so the team take action to discover what was really happening at the location 2,000 years ago. And all in just three days.....
